Directions by Road
For guests driving to Best Western Marina Island, Pangkor from Kuala Lumpur, please note that you do not need to take a ferry from Lumut town. As we have direct bridge linkage from the main land to our island, we are easily accessible via Teluk Muruh/ Teluk Batik, which is approximately 5 minutes drive from Lumut town. The directions to get here are as follows:
- From the Damansara toll plaza, take the North South Expressway northbound towards Ipoh.
- Exit at the Batu Gajah/ Gopeng toll plaza and take the right turning at the traffic lights (towards Batu Gajah/ Gopeng). Thereafter, follow the signboards to "Lumut".
- The rest of the journey will be on 4 lane dual carriage non toll highway. You will pass Kelly's Castle where you can alight to take some photographs before continuing the journey of approximately 70 kilometres (approximately 35 minutes).
- Once you are near Lumut, follow signboards to “Teluk Batik” to reach Marina Island.
- The total journey from Damansara toll plaza to Marina Island, Pangkor is approximately 250 km, or 2 ½ hours.
